Meet the doctor!
Dr. Irving Golombeck
Dr. Golombeck is a New York native who has been practicing cosmetic and restorative dentistry for over 25 years. He graduated from Columbia University School of Dentistry and began his practice in Brooklyn. After a couple of years serving patients in Brooklyn, he found he was interested in prosthetic dentistry— the art of restoring the function and esthetics of people’s teeth—and wanted to gain more knowledge and skill in this area. He attended a comprehensive two-year specialty training program in Prosthetics at the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry to focus on this specialty and now incorporates it into his general practice. He now has a practice with offices in both Manhattan and his home town of Great Neck, Long Island where he lives with his wife and raised his four children. He has a passion for dentistry, and loves spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren whenever he can. Dr. Golombeck has lectured extensively and was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University School of Dentistry for 5 years.

Tara:
Tara Golombeck, Dr. Golombeck’s wife, graduated from Queens College with a major in Fine Arts. After raising the couple’s four children she decided to return for a graduate degree in Art Therapy. After graduating, she worked as a therapist in the Bialostock Home for the Aged for a year and was then pressed into service at Dr. Golombeck’s office when the office manager of 25 years fell ill. Over the ten years since, Tara has found working with her husband and interacting with the patients so enjoyable, she has remained as an integral part of the team.
Rosanne:
Rosanne Corrado received her training in Dental Hygiene at the State University of New York at Farmingdale. She continues to take continuing education classes at SUNY Farmingdale as well as at other educational venues. She lives with her husband in Queens, NY and is the proud mom of two adult sons. She and her husband enjoy an active life visiting Manhattan and Brooklyn where they love listening to music and socializing with friends. Rosanne has worked with Dr. Golombeck in his Great Neck office for over 25 years where she continues her commitment to her patients’ oral health. She’s not only an excellent hygienist but a great manager of the office, facilitating a friendly and smooth experience for our patients.
Hygienist
Amparo:
Amparo received her dental hygiene degree from New York City Technical College. She has been in the dental field for more than 20 years and she has been working alongside Dr. Golombeck for most of those years. Besides being an excellent hygienist, she enjoys cooking and is a master baker. Her two grown sons are her biggest fans and benefit from her wonderful culinary skills. She continually attends lectures and courses and enjoys applying new techniques and utilizing cutting edge technology. Amparo is a tremendous asset to our practice, helping our patients improve their oral health by educating them and by giving individualized care.
Assistant
Susan:
Susan is the newest member of our team and our liaison between our two office locations. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and received her training at the New York School of Dental Assisting. You will meet her working with Dr. Golombeck in Manhattan as well as in the Great Neck office, and she has become a valuable asset in maintaining the continuity of care for our patients. Susan is the mother of four, and enjoys preparing and hosting large family gatherings. In addition, she spends a great deal of her spare time traveling to her daughter’s college soccer and lacrosse games to cheer her on!
